Friendly staff, delicious food. The Laksa with roasted pork was amazing and had a little kick.
Lovely place with delicious food! Would highly recommend the KL style char sui rice; the place recommends it as well. Staff is attentive and the atmosphere is lovely (perhaps a tad too busy at lunch). Overall, would come again if I had the chance 😋.
Really have to try their Malaysia char siew. I have the roast pork dishes whenever I eat here. Rice is fragment and the meats tender. Reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. It gets crowded at lunch so time your meal here. They have noodles and vegetables as well. Nice.
the only char siew I approve of in the whole of australia (I’ve tried many and have always been disappointed :/ ). I’d say this is 90% close to what I’d find in KL, just make sure to specifically order the KL style char siew though! I don’t often write reviews but this one made me shed a tear and incentivised me to share a review because I’ve been craving this for a really long time.

Probably the best Malaysia Chinese BBQ I have eaten in Perth. The lady at the counter are kind and polite not to mention she is also very pretty.Definitely will recommend my friends to come.
Ordered the KL style char siu rice, rice was very flavourful and meat was top notch as well.
Popped in for lunch and we were lucky to get a table. The restaurant is known for its meats and you hear continuous chopping of meat, hence the name. It is really reasonably priced and full of flavour. We tried the roast chicken, the roast pork which has great crackling and the highlight being the KL style Char Sui which is a must. The restaurant itself is no frills and you order at the counter before you sit down. You really can’t go wrong with trying this restaurant.
Chop Chop BBQ is hands down my favourite lunch spot in the Perth CBD. The location is super central and convenient. The food is always served really fast, which I love, also every dish I’ve ever had has been packed with flavour and consistently tasty. If you’re looking for a reliable, delicious and speedy lunch in the city, I’d definitely recommend giving Chop Chop BBQ a try.
Delicious BBQ meats and affordable prices. Hawker style BBQ noodles or rice in a simple, clean and modern air conditioned restaurant. I came the first night and tried their wonton and KL-Style Cha Siu pork with dried noodles. It was so delicious that I had to come back the next day. On day 2, I ordered Combination roast duck and KL-Style Cha Siu pork also wiyh dried noodles. It didn't dissapoint. Service on both nights was fast and friendly. I highly recommend coming here.
